Mike2019-07-01 Tee & Jay's place is a hidden gem well located to the King's Cross/St P stations. The place is exactly as described, clean, well furnished for a tiny studio. Tee and Jay were very responsive, excellent hosts. My only complaint, the downside to my experience, was something completely outside of their control: there was a *lot* of noise from neighboring apartments, comings-and-goings, door slammings, etc., mostly between midnight and five in the morning (other short-term rental apartments in the building?). German2019-06-21 Tee & Jay's place is centrally located and will be ideal for those who transit between local trains/EUROSTAR/airport as King's X and St. Pancras stations are within 8 min walk!Tee & Jay have been so kind that they let us checked in earlier, really big help as then we had a whole half day for exploring London on our first day. The best thing about the apartment is the washing machine--easy to use and relatively clean. The kitchen is well equipped with stove & fan in good function and apparently the microwave & oven too. It is a pity that we did not have a chance to use the oven as seemingly there's no suitable container for oven use. The pans & utensils are bit dirty with stains on them.The bathroom is nice with constant and strong-flow hot water supply. Yet the uncovered toilet paper is obviously once wet when we arrived, which might also be due to the strong jet of shower head water (that leaks from the edge of the shower curtain when the shower head is within the hook). In the bedroom area, there are holes partly covered by wooden boards and the water heater system which are not seen/one cannot tell from the photos. The duvet cover and pillow cases were clean while the bedsheet was questionable (hair was found when arrived). The apartment is on the first floor of an old building, an air conditioning machine (that belongs to somewhere else) is right outside the window, situated on the platform area, where also accommodates rubbish thrown by the people living above. The toilet (or actually the drains themselves?) gets little stinky after the first day and we killed 5 small flies throughout our stay (a week). As the garbage bin was well covered and gave out no smell it's highly possible that the flies came from outside or from the drains.We were lucky that it's only until our last day that the people living on the second floor made quite some noise especially at the staircase. Other nights are pleasant with good sleep.In conclusion, the location is unbeatable, the necessities are overlooked, the place can be cleaner and in turn a bit overpriced. The studio itself was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed for our 2 night stay. This is a fabulous place to stay, in a great location and it is excellent value for money. There is quite a noisy water unit next to the bed so I’d recommend breaking ear plugs.
